After a Christmas without service, the PHP-Fusion Network is returning to service after being hacked by a member of the Lithuanian PHP-Fusion community. Those of you who visited any of the UK sites on Christmas Day will have seen a message demanding two things, that we stop banning Lithuanian IPs and make aš the official Lithuanian Support Site. As we do not ban without just cause the first demand was naturally dealt with. The second demand, however, we simply will not comply with. Now, we have absolutely nothing against Lithuania or its people, but we cannot endorse a support team that acts in such a manner which threatens to destroy the reputation of PHP-Fusion.

Regarding the nature of the attack, we would like to stress that this latest attack had nothing to do with any exploit in PHP-Fusion but a server issue which Sheldon has now rectified.
